I agree with most of this but I feel like gratitude is not a natural instinct we posses, but rather something we are taught to have and show when we should. I never really feel gratitude inherently but I do know I should because I was taught to and show it only because of that.

私はこの意見にほとんど同意しますが、感謝は人間が本来持っている本能ではなく、むしろ持つように教えられ、示すべき時に示すものだと感じています。私は本来、感謝の気持ちを持つことはありませんが、教えられたからには持つべきであり、それを示すべきだと考えています。
そういう考えに至らない人が多いということだな。
